The weather is equally amazing – the temperature doesn’t go over 80 degrees or below 50 at night, so you may save a buck on AC. If you have kids – they will get to go to the most excellent schools – that’s another reason why this town is beloved by young families.
Things to do When You Move to Sausalito, CA
There are quite a few things to do around here. The streets along the main downtown area are lined with restaurants and bars if you feel like grabbing a delicious meal or nice drink. Vista Point is the place you should go to for the great view of the Golden Gate Bridge and some insta-worthy photos.
Battery Spencer is an old military bunker and a popular landmark not to miss while you are there. Go to the Marine Mammal Center Nature & Wildlife Museum to see some cute marine animals or take the kids to the Bay Area Discovery Museum. Rent a bike at the Boardwalk and ride it across the bridge or cross it for more activities in The Golden Gate City.
